Sometimes you might need to display a content above everything else, meaning that there will be no other contents that are showed besides this one.
We call this exclusive content.
For example, we might have an event where we only want to show the schedule, and nothing else during the morning and then, go back to normal playlist.
This is of course is possible with changing playlists dynamically, but exclusive simplifies this process. by signaling a content item as exclusive, you make every other non-exclusive content to be vanished while this one plays.
To toggle exclusivity, click the conditions flash icon next to your content or playlist:
And click the exclusivity toggle:
When an item is exclusive, it will have a yellow flash icon:
Together with condition rules, this gives you the power to schedule ahead times where your screen will show exclusive content and return to normal afterwards.
Playlists can be exclusive too, if you have more than one per layout zone, you can set some of them as exclusive to play a few content items exclusively, not just one.
You can mark as exclusive a few item in a playlist, or a few playlists in a zone, all exclusive items will be shown, while all non-exclusive content will be ignored.
Exclusivity works for the same zone, so if you have split your screen into multiple zones, the exclusivity will apply to it’s current zone, and won’t affect the rest of the layout.
